- STOCKS, ERNEST. Private. No 116148. 20th Company, Royal Army Medical Corps. Son of the late Tom Stocks and Christiana Stocks, 33 Waterside, Lockwood. Employed by British Dyes Limited. Was a member of the Lockwood Church Young Men's Bible Class. Enlisted May 1917. Was based at the 3rd Southern General Hospital, Oxford. Died at home, 9.11.1917, aged 24 years. Buried LOCKWOOD CEMETERY, HUDDERSFIELD. Grave location:- B, 97.
