Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

NORTH, ERNEST. Private. No 155410. 5th Battalion Machine Gun Corps. Formerly No 39310 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Honley. Son of Mr and Mrs William North, 18 Sunny Woodhouse, Honley. Was an apprentice with Mr Edgar S. Jessop, plasterer, of Honley. Killed in action, 27.9.1918, aged 19 years. Buried SUNKEN ROAD CEMETERY, VILLERS-PLOUICH. Grave location:- Row A, Grave 35.
