- LAVENDER, ERNEST. Private. No 24767. 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Son of John and Mary Lavender, 9 Stocks Buildings, Fountain Street, Huddersfield. Killed in action, 10.8.1917, aged 20. Has no known grave. Commemorated MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
