MEAD, ERNEST JOHN. Sergeant. No L/2061. 'A' Battery, 148th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born London. Son of J. W. Mead, Manor Park, London. Educated at London schools. Husband of Alice Mead, 34 Lea Street, Lindley, Huddersfield. Employed as a traveller. Died of wounds, 8.10.1916, aged 32 years. Buried A.I.F. BURIAL GROUND, FLERS. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row E, Grave 10.
