Enoch Charlesworth (c.1891-1918)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CHARLESWORTH, ENOCH. Sergeant. No G/59440. Royal Fusiliers, posted to 4th Battalion London Regiment. Born Marsden. Son of Mr and Mrs David Charlesworth, Pinewood Grove Marsden. Married Susannah Whitham in the autumn of 1914. Lived at 1 Brook Terrace, Slaithwaite. Employed as a pattern weaver at New Mills, Marsden. Attended Marsden Parish Church. A keen footballer and boxer Enlisted 1.11.1915. Killed in action, 25.8.1918, aged 27 years. Buried BRONFAY FARM MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row F, Grave 14.
