WADSWORTH, EDGAR. Fusilier. No 40223. 10th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Formerly No 32238 Durham Light Infantry. Born Bradley Mills 9.5.1881. Son of Herbert Wadsworth, 12 Fieldhouse Lane, off Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Educated St. Andrew's School, Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Employed as a cloth scourer. Lived 514 Carlton Terrace, Leeds Road, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted 13.5.1916. Killed in action 23.9.1917. Buried YPRES RESERVOIR CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 9, Row D, Grave 4.
ROH:- Christ Church, Woodhouse Hill.
Brother of Private WALTER WADSWORTH killed in action, 14.9.1916.
