POOLEY, EDGAR. Private. 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Dalton 7.10.1896. Son of Mrs K. M. Pooley, 89 Westgate, Almondbury. Educated Almondbury Board School. Employed as a wholesale clothier's stockroom assistant. Single. Enlisted 22.11.1915. Died, 11.5.1921, at 130 Northgate, Almondbury of the after effects of war.
