Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CROWTHER, EDGAR. Private. No 4095. 2/4th Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers, transferred to No 449631 822nd Employment Company, Labour Corps. Son of James and Rebecca Crowther, 75 Fenton Road, Lockwood. Employed as a weaver by Messrs Armitage Brothers of Milnsbridge. Killed in action, 20.4.1918, aged 28 years. Buried CHOCQUES MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 6, Row A, Grave 30.
ROH:- St. Stephen's Church, Rashcliffe.
