Eddison and Taylor of Huddersfield

Messrs. Eddison and Taylor (later Eddison, Taylor and Booth) was a Huddersfield-based firm of auctioneers.

The company established by Thomas Albert Taylor (1843-1898) and John Eddison, son of William Eddison.

After Eddison's death, Mr. J.J. Booth (formerly of Laycock, Dyson and Laycock) joined the company circa 1891 and it became Messrs. Edison, Taylor and Booth circa 1896.

Thomas Albert Taylor was injured in the Sefton Mills accident of November 1894 and reportedly never fully recovered. He died in February 1898 after contracting pneumonia following an accident in which he fractured his right ankle.[1]
