A selection of individuals who serviced in the East Yorkshire Regiment.
During the First World War, the 1st & 2nd Battalions saw action on the Western Front as well as the Macedonian Front. The 3rd (Reserve) Battalion was stationed at Beverley and then Withernsea on the Yorkshire coast. Several addition battalions were raised, including a Cyclist Battalion and a Home Service Battalion.
