Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HEALEY, DYSON. Private. No 34309. 8th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment. Born Flockton. Son of Mr and Mrs Healey of 'The Beaumont Arms Inn', Netherton. Prior to enlistment, was a farmer on his father's farm at Netherton. Acted as a groundsman for the Netherton Tennis Club. Killed in action, 9.10.1917, aged 23 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
