- WOOD, DAVID. Private. No 32485. 2nd Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment. Born Cumberworth. Son of John and Mary Ann Wood of Croft Nook, Shepley. Husband of Mary Hannah Wood, Marsh Lane, Shepley. Employed as a merchant tailor. Died of wounds at No 7 Stationary Hospital on 9.5.1917, aged 32 years. Buried BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 4, Row B, Grave 9.
