Clement Mellor (1895-1916)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- MELLOR, CLEMENT. Private. No 242101. 1/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Honley, Huddersfield. Son of Mrs Mellor, Springwood Terrace, Netherton. Employed by Messrs Walter Sykes Limited, Zetland Mills, Huddersfield. Enlisted at Easter 1916. Reported missing, 3.9.1916, in the attack on the Schwaben Redoubt and afterwards presumed to have been killed on that date. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
