The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SNOWDEN, CLARENCE. Private. No 39245. 5th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Born Scarborough. Son of Jacob and Margaret Snowden, 23 Albert Street, Lockwood, Huddersfield. Killed in action, 20.7.1918, aged 19 years. Buried COURMAS BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row C, Grave 7.
