Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SINGLETON, CLARENCE. Private. No 306140. 2/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Mr and Mrs Joe Singleton, 55 Roydhouse, Linthwaite. Educated Linthwaite Church School. Employed at the Globe Worsted Company, Slaithwaite. Reported missing, presumed killed, at the Battle of Arras, 3.5.1917, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
