Clara Ann Hadin (1863-1939) née Moore

Biography

Clara Ann Moore was born in 1863, the daughter of bookkeeper Joe Henry Moore and his wife Elizabeth (née Turner) of Bradford Road, Huddersfield.

She married Fred Hadin in 1884. The couple had 12 children, but only 4 were still alive at the time of the 1911 Census. Their children included:

  • Joe William Hadin (1885-1947)[1]
  • Eva Hadin (1886-1978)[2]
  • George Henry Hadin (1887-1980)[3]
  • Alice Hadin (1891-1892)[4]
  • Olive Hadin (1889-1897)[5]
  • Emily Hadin (1894-1973)[6]

She died on 25 July 1939. At the time of her death, she was living at 2 Cecil Street, Huddersfield.

Suffrage

Clara Ann Hadin was a Suffragette and a member of the Huddersfield branch of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU).
