Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HAIGH, CHARLEY. Private. No 32042. 1/6th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment. Born Sowerby Bridge in October 1898. Son of Fred and Ada Haigh, 191 Bradford Road, Huddersfield. Educated Hillhouse Council School. Employed as a piano tuner. Single. Enlisted October 1916. Reported missing, 3.10.1918, aged 20. Buried RAMICOURT BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row B, Grave 10.
ROH:- Fartown and Birkby War Memorial.
Brother of Private ARTHUR HAIGH who died as a Prisoner of War, 16.9.1918.
