Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROOK, CHARLEY. Private. No 240947. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born 16 Wood Street, Moldgreen, 16.11.1894. Son of Thomas and Charlotte Brook, 7 West Place, Dalton. Educated at Moldgreen Church Schools. Employed as a butcher. Enlisted 20.1.1915. Died 15.7.1918 of bronchial pneumonia, aged 23 years. Buried in MARISSEL FRENCH NATIONAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Grave No 663.
