Charles Street, Huddersfield
Charles Street is a former street in Huddersfield which was lost during the redevelopment of the south-west part of the town.
The street connected John Street to South Parade and was also an access route to several yards, including:
- Glass Alley
- Helm's Yard (also called Elm Yard)
- Ramsden Yard (also known as Fanny Keye's Yard)
Hints of Charles Street survive in the pedestrianised route from High Street to the Council Offices.
