Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

NOBLE, CHARLES. Private. No 37611. 10th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Formerly No 4489 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Enlisted Huddersfield. Lived Lockwood, Huddersfield. (late of Norman Road, Birkby). Mother lived at 24 Weatherhill Road, Birchencliffe. Killed in action during the Battle of the Somme, 25.9.1916. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
