THORP, CHARLES MORTON. Lance Corporal. No 202630. 1/4th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Born Kirkburton. Lived Wood View, Bankside, Shelley. Killed in action, 22.9.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated VIS-en-ARTOIS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
