Building Intelligence.

Golcar. — The memorial stone of a new Baptist chapel at Golcar, near Huddersfield, was laid last week. The chapel will accommodate 1,000 persons, in addition to 300 scholars. The cost is estimated at £4,000, and the contractors are — Mr. John Hallewell, Crimble, mason ; Mr. Joseph Thornton, Golcar, joiner ; Mr. Jonathan Shaw, Golcar, painter and plasterer ; Mr. Fawcett, Westgate, Huddersfield, plumber.
