Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SISWICK, BENJAMIN. Private. No 41547. 1/5th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Born 27 Milford Street, Huddersfield 26.12.1880. Son of Joseph and Mercy Siswick, 5 Colne Road, Huddersfield. Educated Spring Grove Board School. Employed as shop assistant by Messrs George Mason and Son, King Street, Huddersfield. Lived 8a East Parade, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted 8.4.1916. Killed in action near Estaires on 10.4.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
