Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SMITH, BEAUMONT. Private. No 32512. 9th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Almondbury. Son of Joe and Emma Smith, 25 Railway Yard, Honley. Employed as a mason by Mr Allen Hirst. Single. Embarked for France at Whitsuntide 1916. Died of wounds at No 2 Stationary Hospital on 5.2.1917 age 36 years. Buried ABBEVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row A, Grave 26.
