Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HAIGH, BEAUMONT. Private. No 3/10837. 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Meltham, Huddersfield. Lived Meltham. Brother of Mr Dan. Haigh, of Station Street, Meltham. Employed as a cotton piecer. Served at Gallipoli. Died 8.12.1915, aged 27 years. Buried PORTIANOS MILITARY CEMETERY, WEST MUDROS, LEMNOS, GREECE. Grave location:- Plot 5, Row D, Grave 160.
ROH:- St. Bartholomew's Church, Meltham; Christ Church, Helme.
