The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

JESSOP, ARTHUR WILLIAM. Private. No 5062. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Fenay Bridge. Employed in his father's business as a yeast merchant. Attended Rowley Hill Wesleyan Church. Enlisted March 1916. Died of acute bronchitis and pneumonia at No 4 Casualty Clearing Station on 6.3.1917, aged 25 years. Buried VARENNES MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row I, Grave 78.
