Arthur Newsome (c.1894-1918)

- NEWSOME, ARTHUR. Corporal. No 45975. 11th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Formerly No 36642 The Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Charlie and Sarah Ann Newsome, Commonside, Kirkburton. Was a bootmaker, in business with his father, before enlisting. Killed in action in Italy, 15.6.1918, aged 23 years. Buried MAGNABOSCHI BRITISH CEMETERY.Grave location:- Plot 3, Row C, Grave 1.
