Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KAYE, ARTHUR. Private. No G/36117. 25th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. (Frontiersmen). Born 47 Prospect Street, Huddersfield. Son of the late Joseph and Mary Anne Kaye. Educated Spring Grove Board School. Employed as an organ builder in Leeds. Husband of Florence Kaye, Dial House, Halton, Leeds. Enlisted 8.5.1916. Killed in action in British East Africa, 3.8.1917, aged 37 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated DAR-ES-SALAAM MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
