The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

CHAPPELL, ARTHUR. Rifleman. No R/19790. 16th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. Born Milnsbridge. Son of Harry and Mary Chappell, 93 Luck Lane, Marsh. Educated Paddock Council School. Employed as a twister-in. Enlisted 28.2.1916. Killed in action at Croissilles, 25.6.1917, aged 26. Buried CROISSILLES BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row G, Grave 12.
ROH:- All Saints Church, Paddock; Shared Church, Paddock.
