Arthur Broadhead (c.1891-1915)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROADHEAD, ARTHUR. Private. No 2823. 1/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Kirkheaton. Son of Irvy and the late Alice Broadhead, St. Mary's Fold, Kirkheaton. Shot in the jaw and died in No 10 Casualty Clearing Station (Remy Siding), 5.8.1915, aged 24 years. Buried in LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row C, Grave 14.
