Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WOOD, ARNOLD. Corporal. No 18604. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Golcar. Son of Charles and Mary Hannah Wood, 29 Green View, Wellhouse, Golcar. Killed in action on 10.10.1917 during the Battle of Passchendaele. He was 25 years of age. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
