Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

DOUGLAS, ARCHIE. Rifleman. No R/19149. 13th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. Born Stalybridge, Cheshire. Lived Colne Terrace, Manchester Road, Linthwaite. Employed as a piecer by the Colne Valley Tweed Company. Played cricket with the Linthwaite Hall cricket team. Enlisted 1915. Killed in action, 21.8.1918, aged 22 years. Buried DOUCHY-LES-AYETTE BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 4, Row G, Grave 22.
