Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

FRANCE, ARCHER. Private. No 17/1037. 17th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Kirkheaton. Husband of Mrs France, Bog Hall, Colne Bridge, Bradley. Employed as a coal miner. Killed in action, 24.7.1916, aged 31 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
