PEACOCK, ALFRED.Gunner. No 891043. 'A' Battery, 102nd Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born 1 Alfred Street, Castleford, 17.4.1899. Son of Mr and Mrs Fred Clayton Peacock, 18 Charles Street, off South Street, Huddersfield. Attended High Street United Methodist Church. Employed as a general labourer. Single. Enlisted January 1915. Died 27.9.1917, aged 18 years. Buried THE HUTS CEMETERY, DICKEBUSCH, BELGIUM. Grave location:- Plot 7, Row C, Grave 17.
