Albert Taylor (c.1884-1917)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922
The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- TAYLOR, ALBERT. Private. No 241987. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Mr and Mrs T Taylor, Hogley Green, Holmfirth. Educated Field End Day School. Attended Hall Sunday School. Employed as a weaver at Yew Tree Mills, Hinchliffe Mill. Enlisted March 1916. Embarked for France in January, 1917. Reported missing, presumed killed, 3.5.1917, at the Battle of Bullecourt. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
