Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HEALD, ALBERT. Private. No 3591. 1/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Youngest son of Mrs Heald, 9 Pymroyd, Milnsbridge. Employed at Messrs J. W. Leech and Company's chemical works. Attended the Huddersfield Mission. Single. Enlisted October 1915. Embarked for France in April, 1916. Killed in action at the Battle of the Somme, 3.7.1916, aged 25 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
