CARTER, ALBERT EDWARD. Private. No 19796. 10th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born West Derby, Lancashire. Lived Meltham. Killed in action, 23.5.1917. Buried RAILWAY DUGOUTS BURIAL GROUND (TRANSPORT FARM). Grave location:- Plot 4, Row F, Grave 12.
ROH:- St. Bartholomew's Church, Meltham.
