Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROOKS, ALBERT EDWARD. Private. No 202983. 1/4th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Lived Spa Bottom, Lepton. Employed by Messrs Ben Elliott and Sons at the Lodge Mill Colliery. Killed in action, 29.4.1918, aged 21. Buried in LA CLYTTE MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 5, Row C, Grave 3.
ROH:- St. John's Church, Kirkheaton; Lepton Parish Church.
