Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

EARNSHAW, ALBERT. Gunner. No L/29256. 'A' Battery, 93rd Brigade (Holme Valley Battery) Royal Field Artillery. Son of Mr and Mrs Ben Earnshaw of Hogley Green. Prior to enlistment, was a weaver at Digley Mills. Was a member of the Holmbridge Northern Union football team. Killed in action on Easter Monday, 9.4.1917, aged 21 years. Buried LA TARGETTE BRITISH CEMETERY (AUX RIETZ). Grave location:- Plot 3, Row D, Grave 22.
