The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

DEARNALY, ALBERT. Corporal. No 116318. Royal Army Medical Corps. Born Occupation Road, Sheepridge, Huddersfield. Son of William and Emma Dearnley, 22 Norman Road, Birkby. Educated at St. John's Church Schools, Birkby. Employed as a woollen weaver. Single. Enlisted 8.5.1917. Died of pneumonia, 24.10.1919, aged 29 years, at Cannock Chase Hospital, Rugeley, Staffordshire. Buried St. MARY'S CHURCHYARD, MIRFIELD. Grave location:- 9, U13.
