- GLEDHILL, AGUR. Private. No 40870. 2/6th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment. Born Spring Mill, Milnsbridge. Son of Joe and Martha Gledhill, 274 Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor. Husband of Sarah H. Gledhill, 272 Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor. Educated Crosland Moor Council School. Employed as a tailor. Reported missing at the Battle of Cambrai, 29.11.1917, aged 34 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated CAMBRAI MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
