Later called Netherthong Zion United Methodist Free Church.
Established by Wesleyan Reformers who seceded from Deanhouse Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1850s.
Used weaving shed in Giles Street for worship.
Scholars at Sunday School in Miry Lane attended Wesleyan Reformers' Church and Deanhouse Wesleyan Church on alternate Sundays in 1850s, but this system did not work very well.
Wesleyan Reformers continued to hold their Sunday School in Miry Lane after Wesleyan scholars left 1861.
Zion chapel built in Giles Street 1872; had accomodation for Sunday School on lower floor Closed 1984-85.
N.B. Graveyard was in New Road, some distance from chapel.
