Previously known as Trinity Wesleyan Methodist Church. Also known locally as Outlane Over Methodist Church.
Services held in Outlane by minister of Huddersfield Queen Street Methodist Church c.1800, using Richard Wood's house.
Later meetings held in room over some cottages at Haighs Buildings.
Chapel built on north side of New Hey Road 1822.
Sunday School established c.1822.
New chapel built next to old one 1876-78; old chapel used as Sunday School from 1878.
Sunday School enlarged 1884.
New Sunday School built on south side of New Hey Road opposite chapel 1914-15; old Sunday School later demolished.
Congregation ceased to use chapel and converted Sunday School for worship 1964.
Still in existence 2009.
