Biographical Notes
- Born 17 November 1906, son of clogger Joseph Edward Kitching and his wife Bertha. Baptised 23 December 1906 at St. Peter's church, Huddersfield. Married Nellie Jillott in 1937. Worked as a boot repairer (1939 Register).
