A Tudor Homestead

Fenay Hall, Almondbury, a lovely Tudor homestead, scheduled for preservation under the Town and Country Planning Act, is now the residence of Mr. Gilbert Roebuck. The Hall was rebuilt in 1602 and destroyed and enlarged in 1792. Among its former occupants was the late Sir John Brooke, at one time chairman of the Huddersfield Education Authority.
