Bridge Street, Berry Brow

Undated photograph. The original road was Lady House Lane (shown on the right climbing up towards Castle Hill). Newsome Road South (shown as the road junction and originally known as Coalpit Lane) was laid out in the 1880s. The chimney was part of Freehold Mill, which was originally built as a corn mill.
