Undated portrait of Minnie Chapman (1867-1936) née Hammond and her son Ronald, presumably taken in America.
Minnie married Huddersfield draper Samuel Chapman (1861-1897?) on 18 September 1895 and their son Ronald (1896-1914?) was born the following year. Samuel's drapery business (known as the Bee Hive) was declared bankrupt in 1897 and it seems his death was recorded in Q1 1897 at Huddersfield. Minnie and Ronald had immigrated to America before the end of the year.
