His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve of all ranks of the 8th (Leeds Rifles) Battalion, the West Yorkshire Regiment (the Prince of - Wales’s Own) being permitted to wear in their head-dresses a Cockade of the Colours of the French Croix-de-Guerre, in commemoration of their exploits at La Montaine de Bligny in 1918, for which thgy were “Ci n ’.in ihb order*. of the Fifth Frenc’ Army. ?-
