Graham and Jessop of Moldgreen, Huddersfield.
Business card for "quarry proprietors and contractors" Graham & Jessop of Moldgreen, Huddersfield.
The works shown were situated in the area bounded by Wakefield Road, Somerset Road, Maple Street, and Kings Mill Lane. The steam-powered tramcar (which suggests the engraving dates from the 1880s or 1890s) is on Somerset Road and is passing the terraced row known as Somerset Crescent.
The engraving shows two parallel raised structures in the yard of the works, which were the rails for an elevated crane that can be seen towards the far-end.
The firm was originally known as "Benjamin Graham & Nephews", then "Graham & Newphew", then "Graham & Jessop".
